Hi, I'm Solène

I'm a passionate graphic designer with a background in graphic design and an endless curiosity for visual experimentation. From a young age, I’ve always been fascinated by art in all its forms, whether in images, illustration, or typography. Throughout my studies and projects, I’ve discovered the power of digital tools and their ability to transform an idea into an immersive visual experience.

Though my journey began with traditional practices, it was through diving into the world of graphic design that I found my true calling. Today, my work revolves around creating multidisciplinary projects, ranging from publishing and illustration to programming and poster design.

What drives me is learning and exploring different tools and techniques, whether through manual methods or digital technologies. My approach is both creative and pragmatic : I enjoy working on sensitive, poetic projects, but I also thrive in creating visual solutions tailored to specific client needs. My goal is to design visual experiences that carry meaning, whether artistic or functional, and leave a lasting impression.

  • 2024–Présent : Communications manager at Le Point du Jour, art center/publisher.
  • 2023 : Exhibitor at "ÉNERGIE(S)" at Frac Grand Large in Dunkirk.
  • June to August 2023 : Graphic design internship at Studio CodeFrisko, Lisbon, Portugal.
  • 2022 : Exhibitor at the "Drawing women out of the shadows" exhibition at the Alliance Française in Bologna, Italy.
  • March 2022 : Graphic design internship at Unik Studio, Caen, France.
  • March 2015 : PAO Assistant intern at Blondeaugraphie printing company, Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, France.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

  • 2022–2024 : DNSEP in Communication, specialization in Dialogues, at ESAC Cambrai.
  • 2019–2022 : DNA in Graphic Design at ESAM Caen, first year at ESAD Orléans.
  • 2018–2019 : Preparatory class at ESAM Cherbourg.

I truly enjoyed my studies. They not only allowed me to gain both technical and theoretical knowledge but also gave me the opportunity to participate in significant projects, meet professionals, and connect with influential figures in the graphic design world. Through my studies, I had the chance to travel and build a valuable network of friends and colleagues, which has been incredibly enriching both personally and professionally.
